Digging the Exit

The project is a museum located in 'La Roque Saint Christophe', a big rock formation with rock shelters at the river Vézère, in Aquitania, France.

The idea of the project is a progressive ascent. This creates an increasing lighting experience that ends in a panoramic view of the landscape.

The creation of horizontal layers allows a visual connection with the outside.

The construction is based on limestone rock work. The relationship with the environment does not seek to create an architectural landmark.
